Meet Sadikiel Lewison Materu
Lead Guide & Founder • Deaf Safari Specialist
Sadikiel Lewison Materu is deaf and has spent years exploring Tanzania's national parks, cultural sites, and hidden gems. His passion for wildlife and commitment to inclusivity inspired him to create deaf adventure safaris Tanzania.
Fluent in Tanzanian Sign Language (TSL), Kenyan Sign Language (KSL), and International Sign Language (ASL), Sadikiel bridges communication gaps and creates meaningful connections with travelers from diverse backgrounds.
With extensive knowledge of Tanzania's ecosystems, wildlife behavior, and cultural heritage, Sadikiel ensures every safari is educational, safe, and unforgettable. His unique perspective as a deaf guide brings a fresh approach to safari experiences—one that prioritizes visual storytelling and community engagement.
