About Zanzibar
Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous archipelago off Tanzania's coast, is a tropical paradise known for its pristine beaches, rich history, and aromatic spice plantations. The main island, Unguja, offers a perfect blend of relaxation, culture, and adventure.
Stone Town, Zanzibar's historic capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a maze of narrow alleyways, bustling bazaars, ornate Arab houses, and ancient mosques. The town's architecture reflects centuries of Swahili, Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences.

Beyond Stone Town, Zanzibar's coastline features some of the world's most beautiful beaches with powder-white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The surrounding coral reefs offer excellent snorkeling and diving opportunities with vibrant marine life.
For deaf and hard-of-hearing travelers, Zanzibar offers highly visual experiences—stunning landscapes, colorful markets, underwater wonders, and rich cultural displays that need no spoken words to be appreciated fully.

Best Time to Visit
June to October (Dry Season): The best time to visit Zanzibar with minimal rainfall, lower humidity, and pleasant temperatures. Perfect beach weather with calm seas ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
December to February (Short Dry Season): Another excellent period with warm, sunny weather. Seas are generally calm, and visibility underwater is excellent. This is peak tourist season with higher accommodation rates.
March to May (Long Rains): The wettest period with afternoon showers and high humidity. However, the island is lush and green, and you'll find fewer tourists and lower prices. Many resorts offer significant discounts.
